Since the mid-1990’s, Guild members have been making quilts and donating them to Brenner’s Children’s Hospital (a part of Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center) and to the Forsyth Medical Center neo-natal center.

Hundreds of small, bright quilts have been donated. In 2009, 99 Preemie Quilts were delivered. Batting is provided by the Guild. Members use the batting to complete the quilt. A rectangular patch (also provided by the Guild) identifies the name of our guild along with the sentiment, “Made With Love”. In the future, these patches will include more information, such as, the name of the quilter and the month and year it was made.

Baby quilt requirements:
Overall size should be about 36" to 42".
Fabric no longer needs to be 100% cotton.
For batting and Guild label, please see Preemie Chair.
