You can even purchase CD’s now with quilt teachers instructing you in their world famous techniques. It’s like taking a class and being the only student there!
www.pbs.org/  – PBS, headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, is a private, non-profit media enterprise web site for public television. Click on the Arts section and then find the America Quilts section. There are quilting tips and an online gallery of quilts along with their stories. An interesting place browse through.
www.pcquilt.com  – PCQuilt is a Quilting Software program designed as a Windows based application essential for those interested in designing quilt blocks on a computer. A simple graphical user interface makes this software easy to use.
www.piecesofthepast.com  – A site specializing in quilting products. They stock unusual items, such as the hard to find "Roxanne’s thimbles" usually found at major quilt shows. They also carry quilt hangers for displaying wall quilts.

Spend a little time reading confessions of quiltaholics….you might recognize someone that you know! You will at least get a few good laughs.

www.quiltmag.com  – For the want-to-be teacher. Tips on teaching, How-Tos, easy methods for making quick attic windows, Dresden plate pattern, and a simplified drunkard’s path. You can get a lot of helpful, free instruction. There are also free monthly Redwork patterns available and links to several nationally known teachers.
www.quiltingpassion.com  – This site offers free patterns, a mystery quilt, projects to work on, handy tips, and much more. Site is updated frequently.

www.sewing.org/  – Sewing.org is your link to the exciting and rewarding world of sewing. This web site is the home of the American Home Sewing Association. They have free projects and instructions as well as sewing information. You can search for a fabric store near you by typing in a city or zip code and you will be provided with the name, address and phone number of the closest fabric shop.
www.sewnews.com  – Sew News magazine website contains a preview of the current issue. They also have past articles available listed by year and category. Some of the articles are available on-line and have a lot of interesting information. Others are not yet available, but list the issue and date of the Sew News in which they appeared.

sunbonnetsue.com  – This is the website of Kim Bunchuck, quilter, mother, and fabric collector. She gives lectures and classes. Her site offers patterns, quilts, and even offers background info about the famous Sue.

thimbles2fit.com  – This web site is new and they will be more showcased. The Thimble Lady specializes in thimbles; the site offers to mail you more a free information packet by special request.
